a) When you browse this website. This website contains no forms, no registration area and no analytics or advertising trackers. We do not ask you for any information in order to read it. Our hosting provider automatically processes the technical data required to deliver the pages and keep the service secure — such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your request. This data is generated by the act of connecting to any website, is held in short-lived server logs, and is not used by us to identify you.
b) When you contact us. If you write to us by email or send us a message on WhatsApp, we process the contact details you use to reach us and the content of your message. You decide what to send us: please do not include sensitive information in a first message.
We do not knowingly collect data from persons under 18 years of age, and we do not process special categories of personal data.
We do not send marketing emails to people who have simply visited this website, and we do not build advertising audiences from its visitors.
We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Technical log data is processed by our hosting provider acting as a processor on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions. If you contact us through WhatsApp, your message is also processed by the operator of that service under its own terms and privacy policy; if you prefer not to use it, write to us by email instead.
Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, including to the United States, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards recognised under Chapter V GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
We keep the correspondence you send us for as long as necessary to handle your request and for any subsequent business relationship, and thereafter for the period required by applicable legal, tax and accounting obligations. Technical server logs are retained for a short period for security purposes and are then deleted or anonymised.
You have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, the restriction of processing, and the portability of data you have provided to us. You also have the right to object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest, and to withdraw at any time any consent you have given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority — in Portugal, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
